Retsch Emax
Description
Emax BALL MILLING: HIGH PERFORMANCE FOR NANOMATERIAL SYNTHESIS
AND ANALYSIS
The Emax is a new type of planetary ball mill for high-energy grinding. Its unique
combination of high friction and impact enables extremely fine particle
grinding in a very short time.
Functional Principle
The Emax grinding jars have an oval shape mounted on two discs, ensuring a constant
circular motion. This specific geometry generates strong friction and powerful
impacts between the balls and the sample, resulting in extremely fine grinding
and a narrow particle size distribution, far superior to that achieved with conventional
ball mills.
Advantages
- Achieves ultrafine particle sizes down to the nanometer range.
- Combines high friction and impact for faster and more efficient grinding.
- Excellent transformation rate and substantial time saving.
- Highly Efficient Cooling System.
- Grinding Time very short, due to high energy.
